2. Description of Greencent

Greencent is a mobile application that rewards users for choosing eco-friendly means of transportation, such as buses, trains, or bicycles, over traditional cars. Users earn rewards based on the distance traveled using environmentally friendly transportation options.

3. User Eligibility

To use Greencent, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian. By using Greencent, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1. Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate and truthful information when registering and using Greencent.

4.2. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any activities that may harm the integrity or performance of Greencent, including but not limited to unauthorized access, distribution of malicious software, or interference with the normal functioning of the app.

4.3. Emission Calculation

Greencent rewards users for each kilogram of non-emitted CO2resulting from choosing eco-friendly transportation options. The emission calculations are based on various factors, including the distance traveled, mode of transportation, and associated carbon footprint data.

4.4. Location and Sensor Permissions

To accurately track users' means of transportation and calculate emissions, Greencent relies on the location data and sensors of a mobile device. Users must grant the app permission to accesslocation services and other defined sensors even when the app is running in the background. This is crucial to ensure the precision of rewarded greencents.

4.5. Accuracy of Rewards

Granting the app access to location data and sensors is essential for providing users with accurate Greencent rewards. Failure to grant these permissions may result in reduced accuracy in emission calculations, leading to users not receiving the intended amount of greencents for their eco-friendly transportation choices.

4.6. Notification Settings

Users are encouraged to enable push notifications to receive timely updates on their Greencent rewards, app features, and any important announcements. Disabling notifications may result in users missing out on valuable information regarding their rewards and app functionality.

4.7. User Consent

By using Greencent, you explicitly consent to the collection and processing of location data and sensor information for the purpose of emission calculations and reward distribution. This data is handled in accordance with Greencent's Privacy Policy.

4.8. Security of Location Data

Greencent employs industry-standard security measures to protect the confidentiality and integrity of user location data. However, users are responsible for maintaining the security of their mobile devices and should report any unauthorized access or use of their accounts promptly.

4.9. User Discretion

Users have the option to revoke location and sensor permissions at any time through their device settings. However, doing so may impact the accuracy of emission calculations and subsequently affect the Greencent rewards earned.

Note: Greencent respects user privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws. The collection and use of location data and sensor information are solely for the purpose of enhancing the accuracy of emission calculations and providing users with fair and rewarding experiences.

5. Earning and Redeeming Rewards

5.1. Reward Calculation

Rewards are calculated based on the distance traveled using eco-friendly transportation means, as recorded by Greencent.

5.2. Reward Redemption

Users may redeem accumulated rewards in accordance with the options provided within the Greencent app.

6. Privacy Policy

6.1. Data Collection

Greencent collects and processes user data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which can be found here.

6.2. Third-Party Partners

Greencent may collaborate with third-party partners for the provision of rewards and services. By using Greencent, you consent to the sharing of relevant information with such partners.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Greencent and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses.

8. Termination

Greencent reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms.

9. Modifications to Terms

Greencent may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law
